He is the one whose Character I liked the Most....
B Coz he is inspired from one of the greatest Entity BHEESHM Pita..!!! The One Who Did Unbreakable Vow THE BHEESHM PRATHIGYA....!!!

 Here is the reason Why I think Katappa was inspired from Bheeshm pitamaha....
 Reason1: Like BHEESHM in Mahabharat,    Kattappa in BAAHUBALI is Bound by a promise          which was done to protect their respective Kingdoms..
Reason 2: Kattappa has enormous energy, and huge strength, like BHEESHM in Mahabharat
Reason 3: Kattappa knows everything  which is going on in the kingdom is wrong.. But he can't do anything as he is bound by a promise. Yeah, you are thinking it right... (Like BHEESHM knows,   pandavas are right. But he stays on the Kauravs Side)

Here Comes the Second Similarity...

2. Bhalla and Amarendra Baahubali are cousins who are the prince of Mahismathi Kingdom.
In Mahabharatha, Kauravas and Pandavas were cousins too...  BINGOO....!!!

Bhalla is the lead Antagonist in this Movie, Exactly the same way Kauravas were in the Mahabharatha...

Duryodhan and Arjun (kaurav and Pandav as in Mahabharath)

Duryodhan(Kaurav) = Bhalla

Arjun(Pandav) = Baahubali

Kauravas disliked Pandavas. Kaurav were Greedy and always hungry for power. They lacked compassion for poor people of their kingdom.

 But after watching it this is what I found....

Was it Inspired from Mahabharat...??

Let us check for similarities ..

1. Bhalla's Father is handicapped, this was the reason he didn't get the Throne. 

    In Mahabharat Drithrastra is the eldest brother of Pandu, But as he is blind he didn't get the   kingdom.

Both of them are obsessed with power....!!!
